I did the dent/ding protection, any dent/ding smaller than a golf ball is covered including hail damage. I live in the city and door dings are inevitable. My last car had 4 door dings in 2.5 years and didn't fix any b/c it was a lease. I plan on keeping the 335 as long as I can so it was worth it to me.

Since I have the Sprt Susp. Pkg. I went with the wheel/tire plan... Was $699, paid $399 I blew a tire (ran over something on the highway) on my last BMW and did not have the time to order one from the Tire Rack, I had to pay $325 for it mounted at the local dealer. And that was a normal tire, the runflats will cost more. Since I have a 3 year lease and bad roads here, I think it was worth it. My ex girlfriend's mom had 18"s on her Jag, and ruined 3-4 of them...

I'm against extended warrenty's as a rule, but I think this one is worth it...

Who knows, it's really man v. man when facing the finance mgr. And he's good at what he does, exactly why he's sitting in the captain's chair.

My g/f was with me and put me on the spot saying she thought the protection was good--I said fine, for $300 less I'd take it. At first he rolled his eyes and said he can't do that, and I said that's fine, decision is made, don't want any of it. Let's finish up. Then he got up and said he'd see with his boss, but there's no way, and you know what happened next. He came back with a grin on his face and said I drive a hard bargain. If we want to get that analytical, they didn't offer it to me at a lower price, I said I would take it for $300 less, and then said I didn't want it anymore. $499 is not chump change, and like I said, I just wont look back. Maybe I get no dings for 5 yrs., that would be the best-case scenario. Next time I know not to waste the $499 on something I'll never use.
