I'd like to see Holdens brought here...but seeing that they only come in RHD I guess thats not going to happen. Lets see if Alfa Romeo finally get their act together!

They sell the Holdens in the middle east as LHD Chevy Caprices...imagine that, a RWD V8 Chevy. I don't think that's happened (as a *real* Chevy) in sedan form since maybe 1996.

I was raised driving RHD's and still drive them when I visit friends and family back home. I asked my CA just out of curiosity about ordering a RHD when I ordered my car and my CA told me that you could import a RHD BMW to the US but you would have to buy it in a country where BMW sold RHD's like in the UK or Bermuda.

People would post about converting their s2k's into RHD cars all the time and all I could do was shake my head at it. I thought it was a JDM thing, but I guess the Euro guys want RHD too so that they can make impossible left hand turns across traffic.
Hey.. why not be different?

If you can drive a RHD car safely in a LHD country, then.. why not?

There are plenty of LHD cars in RHD countries, afterall.

Anyway, just thought it would be an interesting topic and, heck, now that you no longer need to throw quarters into toll booths, LHD would be an "interesting drive".
