there are different maps and such which people like to talk about as was stated in this opening in the thread!!! you sounded like a dick nonetheless...don't pounce on someones new toy just cause there have been other posts....that is part of what this forum is about!!! talking about there new toys and opinions...i found this thread helpful as some have been confusing lately stating no dramatic effect and then at the end of the post say "then the car warmed up and this thing was great." he talked about smoothness through gears and noticibly scary power in 4th and more reasurance that this products "rocks" and is not just "ok"!!!! it is one thing to comment but to totally say posts like this are useless is just plain silly!!! they don't need to add to someone elses thread...a lot of times people get pissed when you hijack there thread ________ CB200 Last edited by purplewidow; 03-29-2011 at 09:09 PM.. |

Somebody doesn't want Shiv pole smokers chiming in on TT threads. Now somebody else wants to limit what the Procede owners can talk about in their own threads.

Not gonna let a post like this bring me down. Too happy with the PROcede to listen to nonsense like that Besides, every good review is free advertising for shiv and his crew, no?? Anyways, yeah shiv, it wasn't in either of the ziplock bags. Don't sweat it, although I was in a bit of a raging mood after working hard into the wee hours of the night and then discovering no little plastic thingy... It's all good though, and thx for the clear up on the map version. My bro has an m3 and he was just awed when I took him for a spin. |

So Shiv, for those of us that are to receive our PROcede's this or next week, we shouldnt pay attention to the version stated in the instructions as they're most up to date???

I'd say a total of about 1.5 hours, and that's including getting familiar with the engine bay, looking for my tools, cigarette breaks, and a few times trying to stop my laptop from freezing up. So all in all, I think with the perfect settings, it's potentially a 30 minute install. BTW, at no point during or after the install did any MIL,CEL,DTC, or SOS lights come up. I was dreading those lights after a couple of reviews and bought a C-reader just in case for 80 bucks! Oh well, at least I didn't have to open it.

Umm, ahh, "Insider" one must click on the thread and read to see what the thread is about!
However, if you disagree with someone's point of view, you can always keep your mouth shut too...got it? Chill. Nothing gets people's blood pumping like a bit of disagreement I guess. By the way, has anyone told you guys how great the steptronic transmission is in the 335i. Did you know it shifts so frickin fast it's unbelievable, you guys should check it out, it's amazing. It's impossible to shift a manual as fast as this thing shifts. Oh, and by the way, Blackline taillights = OMG They transform the look of the rear of this car. The install is so easy too. All you got to do is pop off the trunk lid cover and the covers in the back of the trunk that cover the rear taillights. It's really easy. Hey by the way, the 335i sedan's built before March 2007 with Sport Package didn't have an oil cooler like the coupes. Can you believe that? Just kidding guys, just felt like restating what everyone knows already. It seems like many of you like to hear that so I figured I'd induldge you all with a bit of the obvious. Like Shiv said, you guys need a hug, or at least take a chill pill. I like Shiv's product as much as the next guy, and give Shiv all kinds of credit for the PROcede, that's why I was one of the first in the country to order and get the thing in my car. But are you guys seriously saying you'll all still be excited to hear or read a post months and months from now of how someone just got there PROcede and telling you how the power increase is amazing? I just figured I'd nip it in the bud, because we all KNOW the PROcedes power is amazing, there are dozens and dozens of posts on that very topic already! An easy search of "PROcede" will give you all you need to know about it. That was my only point. Flame on if you so feel the need, or practice what you preach and ignore my post if you don't like it. Either way, later, sorry to ruffle so many feathers. |

But car pics are different. Many of the cars are in different colors, have different wheels, different darkness of tint, different etc etc. Plus cars, like models, look different with different backgrounds. Looking at car pics is like looking at pics of Jessica Alba (or any other hot woman), you can't get tired of it, each pic is a bit different and different scenery, even though it's the same girl! But you can (and do) get tired of listening to people TELL you how much greater their wife's or girlfriends boobs look and feel after the implants. |

Uh, no you cant. Now I know what to look for next time I see them. So not the same category. Plus, the wives/girlfriends are more likely to say "feel this" when they know you know. As opposed to anyone with a PROcede saying "go take it for a spin".
