Didn't remove pins but car is lowered and I have m3 up front. Have 1.3 and 1.5 neg camber up front. Perhaps I could get up to 2.0 with pin removal.

signed up late so only thing available was HPDE 1...signed up for Saturday...does everybody want to meet up in a specific area? I noticed Jerry sent out the schedule already.

I'm debating on whether or not to sign up for sunday hyperdrive to get 1 session in just for the heck of it....dont have the time for racing all day on the track on Sunday.

I'll be there Sunday for HPDE 1, taking the advice that the only difference between 1 and 2 is the free instructor.

Is anyone else going to be there Sunday or is everyone going on Sat?

Do the Hyperdrive on Sunday, it's only $39!

Why do both? Seems backward to run hpde 1 on Saturday and hyperdrive on Sunday. Just trying to get a little more seat time?

idk if I will but I thought since I'm close by and its only $39 on sunday the hyper drive which is cheaper than what were paying on a per 20min session why not.

I've not done a hypedrive, but from what I saw watching, its pretty damn slow (first time around was like 35 mph). You may want to be going faster after a day of HPDE than you can at hyperdrive.

You do a slow session (under 60) then back on the track for a normal session. Just try to get in the front of the line or else you get stuck behind a very very very slow train.

I'll have all my track tools, along with a sunshade and some chairs.

C'ya up there. I'm going to try to claim the same spot as last year. Hopefully we all have a chance all to meet before or between sessions. Don't forget to bring plenty of water and sun screen.

Re: motion sickness as a passenger...

Here's a tip. Look as far as you possibly can. If you're staring at the bumper in front of you or 20 feet in front of the bumper you WILL get sick. The same advice I give all of my drivers, I do myself. Look far ahead.

It also gives you as a passenger, the opportunity to figure out how far away you have to look. Especially if you suffer from motion sickness, if you can move your visual references far enough ahead where you don't get sick, you'll likely pick up a lot more speed when you're driving as you apply those new found skills.

I can ALWAYS tell when my driver has taken a couple of rides from fellow instructors. They pick up speed. Big time.

Overall was pretty good. Weather was much cooler than last time which really was nice. It was a tad crowded out there. As expected the first session was pretty slow.

Was nice meeting a few more of you guys,

Here is a video of a few laps from my 3rd session, nothing too exciting. Was playing fairly safe as it was my first time with out and instructor.

Was a ton of fun, learned plenty more this time around, hopefully can keep on learning and improving my driving.

Both days were pretty good, should have some footage from the last session on Sunday in a bit. The E36 M3 is awesome! Best lap (8/10ths) was 2:08.6.

Very clean, great line on the first lap in the video and nice passing.
