Stop making promises on delivery dates, and make some deliveries.

Got several kits ready to go out tomorrow. Another 15 or so on Monday. And then the remaining on Tuesday. We can't only get 10-15 kits out per day since it takes quite a bit of time to assemble, test and pack each one.

Uhh....this thread is about the new guy hired to build kits to ship out. Shipping dates should not be thrown around willy nilly. That applies to any business.

i'm not saying they should, because i'm a huge advocate in underpromise and overdeliver since i've been in sales since for 9 years but i also know that sometimes its hard to predict the kind of demand that you may recieve on a new product launch... and how hard it can be to keep up with that demand. it just doens't do you any good as a consumer to go pissing in someones wheeties when its obvious that they aren't slacking off, they are doing what they can to meet the demand and still put out a top quality product...

i'll give you one example. i dont know if you know guns but Kimber used to make one of the best 1911's out there when they still hand fitted each part and wouldnt send out anything without making sure it was TOP notch. then they became so popular that they couldnt meet the demand and people were having to wait a long time for a gun, so they went to an assembly line and while each batch of parts is "tested" its not hand fitted like it used to be. and while Kimber still makes a pretty "decent" gun it is NO where near the quality of what it used to be and any real gun person can tell you that. but they still have a good rep because they are still known by your average joe by what they "used to do" and those people still think its the same stuff now as back then.

all i'm getting at is when people fuss and get impatient of minor delays it can effect everyone in the long run. i know you are excited about having your product and i know it sucks to expect it on a certain day and then find out that its not going to be here then.... but thats the price you pay sometimes when getting the the hottest thing out there right now. it pays to keep a good relationship with your vendor and bashing em isnt teh way to do that!

It's not a minor delay. I can't give a timeline without causing a huge fuss, which is not what I'm doing. Simple advice is all I gave.

A vendor is a business, not your friend.

If you simply call them you get your answer. They answer the phone and you speak directly with Robert

Quick update: Another 20 pwm meth kits shipped out today. Along with another dozen that shipped out last week. Which means that there are only a handful (less than 10) backorders right now. And all of them are recent orders

cheers
