Sweet.

Speaking of st john's does anyone know if the first day of school (Wednesday) is a Wednesday schedule or monday. I know they like to switch it up a lot and starting on a day that everyone has off besides night classes wouldn't make much sense.

I don't remember the car but it looks nice.

The car scene sounds a lot different then when you went there.

I have seen GTR's, a Bentley Continental GT, CL600, M6, a few M3's, X5 M

And there are always a ton of Range Rovers, 3 series, MB C classes, Audi A4's, etc

But there are more civic corolla etc than anything else

Yeah I'm moving in tomorrow..fuck. I'm in the pharmacy program for the next 6 years unless I can transfer my way out to U of M (my dream school) with shim in a year or two. Stupid fucking college roomed me with 3 other kids. All of whom are fobs.

Thinking about dorming for only a semester though then commuting the 25 min drive from there on out. Going to have to pay $500 for the parking permit in the mean time ;(

I'm really, really, not looking forward to attending this school, and the fact I'm moving in TOMORROW is killing me.

Oh, and classes start Wednesday.

Makes me wonder why you'd choose STJ in the first place if you're already sounding suicidal before you've even attended your first class. Hopefully you'll learn to appreciate the multi-cultural diversity that STJ offers instead of complaining about it.

Not multi-cultural at all. Hell, if you're a pharmacy student, they force you to dorm with only other pharmacy kids, and all pharmacy kids are on the same floor. So much for diversity. "Major" diversity if you catch my meaning. Oh, and the fact that the school seperates genders by floors is also stupid, especially because it's college. I can understand in a boarding school, but college? No..Not coinciding the fact that the entire program is made up of 50% asian, 45% brown, and 5% white? And I only have classes with people in the program. I suppose if I majored in anything but pharmacy at SJU, I might have a better time. But if I did do that..I would have just gone to Boston University instead where I can get a decent, somewhat prestigious education. But what do I know.

The reason I chose the school was because it provides a 6 year pharmacy program. That's the only reason. And no, I'm not suicidal. I'm just afraid of how anti-social I might just become.

Lol I graduated in May, but I used to always park on the top floor of the parking lot behind DAC. The two IvyLeagueEast.com guys park up there -- the slammed "OMG TSX" and the even more slammed 500+ HP "V8 BAIT" STi hatch. The roof is def the safest place to park lol

Don't worry, really, because STJ isn't as bad as your presumptions. You'll be fine regardless of what program you're in as long as you're not an anti-social individual.

And please, don't down-talk the education that current students are receiving or alumni have received. Do realize what thread you're posting in and whom you're speaking to within this thread. If you think BU would've been the better choice, then you should've gone there instead. Would've, should've, could've -- it's all talk at this point since you've already made your choice.

Don't take what I'm saying the wrong way. All I'm trying to say is that STJ is not as bad as you're making it seem.

I hear what you're saying perfectly clear. I know, my opinions of SJU are clouded with bad stigmas (only because the majority of the students who go there from my school aren't/weren't the brightest of the bunch intellectually..and physically..mad drugs). Whatever, I'm just trying to go in tomorrow without any expectations. If what you say is true, I might be pleasantly surprised. If not, I'll just have to deal with it.

By the way, did you have any problems from assholes from messing up your car? Like keying it or anything?

Oh and..how decent is the chance that I can get my hands on the overnight parking permit as a freshman? From what I know, I have to wait till all the upperclassman get theirs first.

Damn bro, I've kinda been watching this thread just bc I can't sleep at the moment but from what I've heard and seen from my good friends who go to SJU, it's not bad at all. A few of my friends had a lot of the same worries you did, but in the end, they say it worked out and they're totally happy with their choice. In the end, as long as you're willing to give it a fair shot, it's not bad at all.

(I used to chill there and stare at kamek's car all the time )

your car is not gonna get keyed, a 3 series is like a civic in STU meaning theres a lot of them on campus..i use to park outside of campus sometimes and it would be perfectly fine when i came back.
