Wouldn't get worried about BMW dealers using Castrol, it isn't the ultimate in lubricating oil and the reccomendations are merely a sponsorship deal. I believe the cars come with Fuchs oil in as new so that may be an option, or Mobil 1 is very good as are Shell oils, not sure what their current LL04 oil is.
Used to make lubricating oil base stocks for a living until the technology our refinery had became outdated and too expensive to run, Mobil and Shell were always considered the best by anyone you asked in the industry! Ian |

Just picked up 8L of castrol 5w30 fully synthetic for €86.48 from halfrauds...decided on the castrol in the end as I do the intermediate 10k change between dealers 20k...just to book her in now for her €84.00 service book stamp
