I have same scenario with 3 kids. I have a coupe on the way. We have a tahoe which is the hauler. I rarely haul more than one or two. You will regret the sedan IMO.

Effective March 27, 2005: all back seat passengers who are age four or older but under age seven must be restrained in an appropriate child restraint system. A child older than four years of age and over four feet nine inches in height may be restrained by a safety belt.
Given the fact they will have to be restrained in a car seat until they're 7yo (unless they're amazons!), get the sedan if it's your only ride. If this will be your alternate vehicle, go with the coupe and just take the other car when you need to transport your offspring.

e91 or e90, definately. When it gets down to actually putting them in there all the time(scuffing the center console and the seats all the time)you will regret getting the coupe. I know it.Even the sedan will be tough sometimes.Go to the dealer with your kids and actually try both cars.
