haha honestly :P... I'd die if i saw that a ship had to go through the canal....How long do you expect a dealership to receive a car if it's less than 50miles from port?

I ordered a car last December to CT, so it came in to the NYC/NJ port. It was at the dealer 6 days after hitting the port.

Unfortunately it has NOTHING to do with the dealer! It's completely out of their control. All they control is how long it takes to do the 60-120 minute pre-delivery inspection.

I should be getting my car by the end of this week but do you know if there is some paper work they need to get before hand? My CA keeps telling me he wont get the "Certificate of origin" docs until two day after the car gets there...

I wonder if the dealer is just making this up... They should already have them IMO.

Officially no car today, obviously. For that they will be installing my performance exhaust for free. I'm squeezing these suckers for as much as I can even though it is technically out of their control.
