Looks amazing!

Maybe a bit of clear vinyl wrap over that panel to protect it from scuffs? (As long as it's not airbag related!)

I love the panamera but it's a bit of a marmite car, your the right though the diesel is a great option as you don't have the high fuel/insurance costs plus the road tax is cheap. Much cheaper than a rapide and thats even if you go for a turbo!

Oli, it's a hit the go on the stalk and then stop it on 9.11, it's not easy and it will drive you mad when you keep missing it :-)

Carlos, its 385bhp with 400nm but bear in mind its power to weight is 271 bhp so she is pretty nippy :-) she is brand new.

I found the thing will was on about so I should be able to keep it away from the back of the seat

It only weighs just over 1400kg approx then to achieve 275HP/ton!! That's why she is so quick. I mean 0-100 in 9 odd seconds with only 385HP is going some. I would have thought it would be mid 10's! Even so still ballistic!

Yep 1425kg, 271bhp per ton. Official porka figures are 0-100 in 9.3 and 0-62 in 4.3, this is with sport plus on.

What do you guys reckon, will the Carrera S be faster than a e92 M3 on track?

996 c4s is a great car although the engines are a little fragile. As you say the 997 interior is nicer and the new 911 is even nicer.
Really
The body still looks hot in the pics above

I am not sure on circuit times. But it must be a shit handling car if the 911 is slower around a track when it's 2 seconds faster accelerating to 100mph than the M3.

I'm sure the 911 is quicker!!

C2S should be a little faster than C4s. Its not carrying 50kg+ worth of 4wd hardware around, that only really assists in the initial launch, then is just excess baggage with associated increased drivetrain losses. C2S every day of the week if I ever get the opportunity.

Still can't get 9:11 on my chrono. When I miss it, I then try and get 9:97! It will happen

Love it, my dream car also. I will hopefully be in a position to get one when I'm due for a change in 2 years.
