Believe me, I bugged him once a week until I got mine, even visited him once! Cool guy though, I'd recommend him.

I guess I take that back... I just called my CA and he told me that BMW "dropped your old production number" and gave me a new one... and it's 3686*** now... Now it makes sense why BMW couldn't look my number up in the system before.

He assured me everything was the same though when I asked him if that was a "later" number (obviously it is a later production number so... blah...) think i might make a separate post asking why this would happen.

Finally, I just got my production number. It's my second actually, having been given a March prod number before. But, since I'm not returning until the end of Sept, my car would have been sitting at the dealer too long. My stats:

production # 3191xxx
Week of the 04.June 2007 (CA said it starts life 27JUN07)
Today was the last day to make changes.

Kinda relieved because I'm also planning a wedding and I've been shaving off options left and right. Now, I can finally say "Sorry babe! I'm locked in. Maybe we can just cancel the band?" Yeah, like that'd go over well.

Anyway, welcome to all the other June bugs. Let the pacing begin!

so how long till they tell me the prod. week? i think it's gonna be right at the end of june.

Ya know, I was wonderin that as well. I rec'd the email a cpl days ago:

" Your new BMW has been allocated factory production # 3191xxx and is scheduled to be produced in the Week of the 04.June 2007 "

Some of you folks have 36.... or 37..... Could it be market specific, and thus military car sales is in a diff market?

I placed deposit on 4/17 from Crevier BMW, got a production #364XXXX that afternoon, OC show it went into production 5 days after, right now it has been "Awaiting Transport" for 7 days, OC and 800 number has been on the same track for my order.

Me too, I just called earlier this a.m. before I went to bed ( i work nights), the rep. told me I was scheduled for production either this week (19) or next week (20). I'm not gonna get too excited also unless I hear my status change to "in production". She told me to check back friday to make sure..

Hey man, it's official!!! I called this morning and my car went into production TODAY with an estimated completion date of May 16th. NOW I'm freakin' excited! Hurry up and call to check yours!
