OK, so after trying those settings it basically still cut the throttle. So, I turned it down to 14.0, and still, the same results. It actually still spiking to almost 15.5....and I can still feel it as the DME cuts throttle momentarily during the pull. The last two logs are on the 14.0psi max. Its actually only cutting throttle to about 50% instead of 40% now. Do I need to lower the max even more?

Here are the corresponding logs...

Yea I dont like the look of those logs. Perhaps running map 1 settings no autotune for a good control.

As in just turn off autotune in the parameters right? No need to switch to an older DIC map?

Hey OP, try logging in 3rd starting around 3500rpm... 2000rpm is too low for 3rd to expect quick boost response. You are overshooting boost, but let's see what happens at more reasonable starting rpm.

Anytime you troubleshoot boost, log set point and DC.

You are pretty aggressive... I would disable autotune and set it around 12.5psi considering your altitude and gas.

Hmmm....I'll have to try that this week when I get a chance. If no autotune and 12.5 fixes my current issues.....will it actually pull better (same power, just smoother)?

Alright, I finally got some time to do a little more datalogging. I tried a few different settings and each log is labeled.

13.0psi autotune enabled

12.5psi autotune disabled

12.0psi autotune disabled

11.0psi autotune disabled

i see the timing was getting a little better, and i see you got autotune disabled..but that last graph which shouldnt of let you boost past 11 through the band like that and your actually still putting out lil over 12 psi still..i think 11 would be a good number with octane and conditions you have..did you put max boost on 12 or start boost?

The Overboost Limit was at 12, and Start Boost in % at 34%

ok that isnt going to work..you got start boost higher than max boost with those numbers which will cause conflict and the reason it never dropped to 11 in your logs..leave max boost on 12 and lower start boost to 10-15% which will equal to 11-11.5 psi..that should do it..sucks you have to go that low, but in your case you have no option until you make mods

When you say mods....you mean FMIC, DPs, and Meth, right? I might start mixing a bit of e85 with my 91 to get it back to 93-94. Shouldn't take much.

Can you explain how you are calculating the start in boost? 10-15% of what?

yes when i say mods thats exactly what i mean..you have to mod your system to allow it to continuously run higher boost, especially at your altitude and octane

far as start in boost goes..its 0-100% correlates 10-20 psi..for example..therefore 10% is 11psi...20% is 12psi..35% is 13.5psi...65% is 16.5psi..so on and so forth

you cant have your start in boost higher then your max boost...if your max is 12, your start in boost must be lower.. to run a steady 11psi, your start in boost should be 10. you can always try 11.5 psi with a start in boost of 15

you should definitively read the procede v5 manual in the sticky section of this thread, it will help you understand things better

oh and btw, i wouldnt advise running e-85 at all..our fuel systems are not built to handle the corrosive ethanol through the fuel lines and injectors..cars that run on e-85 have special built fuel systems that allow for it.ours dont.

find some race gas if your only wanting to increase octane, if not, save your money and invest in the meth kit..its gives you the increased octane and well as cooling the air charge and getting lower iats

Yeah, I know everyone says that. I'm not new to ethanol or engineering and what not...it was just a random thought since I'm tired of being stuck with 91. It would only be 2 maybe 3 gallons for every 13-14 gallons of 91. BUT...I am getting closer and closer to a PWM meth kit....I expect it by December

Oh man, I bet that's exciting. Yeah, planning meth for now, then intercooler, and then downpipes (xi FTL). Ughh...and camber plates lol.
