You won't be say that when it comes time for Turbo/Wastegate replacement. Cause it's coming.

rwhp = rear wheel horse power (measured at the wheels by a dyno)

With the JB4 your gains can be over 150rwhp, but that requires many different mods and methanol injection, but the typical gains with 93 octane and a DCI (and everything else stock) are about 80 rwhp/rwtq.

Below is an example of my car with all the mods on pump gas at the dyne.

How is it in the graph it says meth then? Man your special, map 9 ???!!!! I want that

OP- Get a JB4 and a drop in filter, poor 93 octane in that thing and you'll be satisfied, it wont turn out as bad as you thought when you run side by side with a stock M3, would it? Well he might just win but only by a notch.

Lots of misinformation here....search around a bit the absent oil cooler topic was avidly discussed a few years ago.

I have an 07 335xi WITH the aux oil cooler. It' not the 6mt or the sport package, but actually the 18" summer performance tire/wheel package that provided it.

I'd love to see a matrix or something showing yr, model, options and if they have an oil cooler..there is no systematic approach to how BMW decided to put them in some cars and not in others

i'm not calling you a liar or trying to be a douche...just wondering how you had it on yours and i don't have one on mine because there was a forum here a while back about the oil cooler only being offered in the 2009+ 335i and thats true because my cousin has a 2011 e92 335i xdrive w/sport pkg and i saw his oil cooler inside his bumper
whom ever gave you this info was way off. I have '08 sport which came with the oil cooler.

This is what I ordered mine with an its an 07..but I know there are countless later model xi's w/o the oil cooler that have the wheel tire package so your theory may be flawed..

Sounds like you're just looking for bragging rights on HP and torque, and you have a lot of very basic car questions. Dynamometers measure the turning force (AKA torque) and calculate power based on the torque output over time. Rear wheel power numbers come from a chassis dyno, while engine power numbers come from engine dynos. So untwist your panties, no one ever said the 335i put 300HP to the ground. Rest assured, a simple tune upgrade or piggyback with little to no additional modification will net well over 300 rear wheel horsepower on a 335i.

I got mine from Carmax, used/CPO isnt a bad thing (think warranty repair). I only looked at cars with pics under the hood. Didn't consider any of them unless I could see the oil cooler lines coming from the filter housing. But don't worry, for those who do not do drivers school or other high speed track events, an oil cooler isn't that big of a deal.
