it's still goin' on-
the build was original for the wife -
but soon took a back seat bc LTMW got busy,
I got busy, time flew by and the touring
sat patiently.

With unfinished business, the touring
continues, new life has breath'd into the project.
- it sat in the bowels of LTMW
and phase 1 is soon to be completed -
I would like to say here's a teaser -
full write up will come, when it cums.

The touring is gonna my new DD, unless
the wifey changes her mind...

It shouldn't be too bad if he can find a donor S54 car that comes with ECU and 6MT. Supercharging is the next step after the transplant. This isn't too bad either as there are plenty of companies that makes supercharger kit for the S54 platform.

Though they are both E46, the wiring and programming will be the hardest part. Matching the S54 DME to the touring's harness might be a challenge. Definitely not something you should tackle on your own if you want to retain some OEM capabilities. But it has been done, and when done right, the S54 is godly

it's deff a nightmare - i've been following a few e46 wagon builds throughout the years - the fuel'n lines can be quiet some fun as well.
there's a build for this Norwegian's E46 touring -that's pretty detail'd.
I just need a car to DD for now.
and an E30 to finish for the track soon.
