So are you are saying that the drop from stock to the lowest setting was 3.5-4", and the drop from stock to the highest setting was about 2"? This makes a little more sense.
FWIW I just measured the front gap on my completely stock susp. e92 xi (near new 18" Conti DWS on 189's) and it is more like 2-2.25". That is vertical gap from fender lip directly above wheel center to the top of the actual tire tread, not the outer edge of the tire directly under the fender lip. I can almost fit 4 fingers in there but they are not measuring the vertical gap. Ideally you'd measure distance from fender lip to level ground before/after with same tires.[/QUOTE] Yes 4" at the lowest setting. Im not sure wat make u have but the 2011 x's come really high. The gap is atleast 3". After i raised i made sure te car was level. Dimensions i got with vehicle sitting as high as possible are if i remember correctly 26-1/4" front and 24-1/2" back these are from the ground to the bottom of the fender lip. |

kw's are adjustable. u just takeof ur wheels and turn a nut with the special wrench that comes with the coils to adjust height. it probably takes longer to take off the tire then it does to adjust the height

Have KW's been known to seize up at all? I had Koni coilovers on my Audi and they ended up seizing so I couldn't adjust them back up during the winter which caused some issues with ground clearance and ice chunks. |

Just make sure the threads are clean before adjusting. I used a can of brake cleaner, an air can(the ones that u clean ur keyboard with) and a tooth brush. No problems.
