Wife hasn't noticed yet but if she is around when I start the car while still in the garage when the engine is cold it will be hard for her not too. It is definitely much louder first thing in the am.

I have been driving with the window down, the sound is addicting

When you say you do not like the tips do you mean they stick out to far? If this is what you meant I had the same issue on my old E90 with the PE. I took the car to my muffler shop and had the pipes cut from the muffler and shortened. I have pictures of this if you look up my posts. The PE sounded so good to me I bought the PE for my new E90 a little over 5 months ago.

Congrats on the exhaust.

Thanks. It's not so much that they stick out to far as I am just not crazy about the tips. Not enough to worry about though. Man, I sure love how it sounds though.

Sound is just right IMHO. Don't want anything too loud, but like that it starts to wail nicely at higher RPM's.

I have has mine on for 27,000 miles and I have done some long road trips. Its never been too intrusive.
