Yeah I hear ya. That thought did cross my mind after I put it on but I'm still happy with matte. Gives it that sports look.

Up close looks "unblended" with the car but at normal distance isn't noticeable.

Wouldn't mind seeing a gloss black grill on black still....

No paddle shifters with mine - I don't drive it in "Manual" mode anyway so that didn't bother me.

Doesn't really show the gloss black grills (BMW Performance grills) well though.

I wonder what pcock has to say about this. I think he swapped from matte to gloss too.

They look good, goes well especially with the black gloss shadowline!

Here's a close up of the performance grills on black sapphire on this thread (typing from an iPad so can't d/l and upload photos). Looks good!!!

Wow that's not much different from the matte black ones then. Does it include shipping?

I think I'm swaying towards the performance grills...

Just get the original performance grills. I reckon they look better and supposedly they add a little power too.

Will look at the pics again on my larger monitor when I get home. Can't really scrutinize them from an iPad :P

Thanks for the linkie Ninja - may look it up if I can't find any cheaper oem options from overseas suppliers.
