You wouldn't be saying that if Sydney was hit with Level 5 water restrictions. You can not wash your car at home! Only thing you can do is clean your windscreen and number plates.

I won't take my car thru an automated car wash unless it was touchless but going to a place like Car Lovers is our only other option in Brisbane now.

You are right Astra. Unfortunatly some people won't realise how bad the situation is till they turn on the tap and nothing comes out. I don't know how low the water supply is in Sydney but in Brisbane, I cant see us going back to the free for all days so conservation and a slap across the head for people not doing their part is required.

the future will be touchless cawashes (for snobs like you ), and places like CaptOz's carwash, where mild methods are used... as both these places conserve water

climate changes are real, and the water will dry up... you can probably thank global warming for that - but damned if i will drive a prius!

that's like us with our cars... we don't want to be driving round in the mother ship or scratched up cars from the strong bristles, but we do use touchless carwashes... unfortunately it isnt an option for the vert, shame, cos it would save so much time

should make them all go out west to places like Bourke and Broken Hill, then maybee they would see how bad things have gotten...

So you can't even use a bucket to wash your car anymore??

Cheers.

No more bucket either. The only part you can wash (at home) is the glass area and the number plate (they still want to ensure they can read your number plate as you go past the speed / red light camera).

I've given mine a gentle wipe down with the chamios while at home if it was only dusty and then use Merguires Quick Detailer to finish it off.
