Does anybody know if something like this can somehow be put on the ballot during a statewide election? I think it might actually pass if left up to the voters...

It probably would pass. Maybe that's why it's not listed on the ballots. Regardless, I'm not sticking no front plate on my car.

When i got my No lisence plate ticket (for the back plate) the cop told me I HAVE to have it in the back but should'nt get botherd for the front. I even got pullled over in my 335i for plates but i did'nt have them yet and he only said something about the back one. So far i have'nt had any problems with no front plates. ...Knocks on wood..

Front plates aren't that big of a deal. They'll get you when they're pissed off. Otherwise, they just brush it off.

I drove through a seat belt check point this morning with 5 cops walking in between cars at a stop light. None said anything about my missing front plate.

Some cops are very anal about plates.

I'll take the ticket but havent yet (knock knock) But what really pisses me off is that the dealer drilled into my bumper before I got to tell them not too. Suck. Two bullet holes.

Why doesnt someone make a magnetic front plate. Just some metal behind the plate area, some strong magnets, and felt or something. That would solve it. Tell the cop you were at a car show and would be happy to put it on right now.

Do they sell bumper plugs to cover it up? I asked my CA about this and he said they won't drill holes unless I request it.
