WOW I didnt think this thread would gain this many responses and it will be a great read this morning with my coffee...

Led - Naw man im not a badge buyer... if i purchased a 328 or 330 i would remove the badge , it does look cleaner but if i buy a car this fast I'd expect it to stand out from the NA engines. something to justify the $$ xtra.

Revlis - if could handle a Hayabusa i would have bought it... way too heavy and extreamly deadly. I've taken my heavy Ninja750 up to 165 and learned my lesson (no tickets just scared to hell... was going in a turn and hit a bump)

beeemdubu - nope, thats pure rice... if i was I'd of tossed a GT350 or skyline on my G.

Dasblitz - understood, and it may sound cocky but the truth is if im spending $$ on a car that costs $$ more then a NA engine model I would advertise.

I guess the answer is people who want a clean look and care less about the badging.

thanks

ppp

Funny thing is, the only people who would care don't need a badge to tell them which model you have.
I'm a badge buyer. In fact I got a M5 badge and i'm sticking it on my 335xi

If you debadge the car no one will know what it is. Most people have no clue about the differences between normal 3-series and the 335...the dual exhaust won't say much to them, i see a lot of hondas and acuras running around with dual exhaust and I know there isn't anything but a rubber band under the hood....

I plan on leaving the 335i on my car. its a brand that says NOT 328,330 etc.

why would you take the badging off ?

thanks

I debadged and it looks cleaner.Besides people in the know can tell by the exhaust what model it is.And other people think it's a 6 series.

why debadge? I rebadge mine ....re-arrange the 335I to 533I or 353I the higher the better...
that one way to mod your car without cost ...only some double side tape.

328I owers ..... yours is even better can re-arrange to 832I better than the 7s

That is a fake homo
The image is just a photoshop re-badging ... Hehee. just for fun.

The only thing I will do is debadge the 335i to paint it black and stick is back....that will make my car a real blackcat335i .

Is stock 335i better than the lower stock 3s, the answer is yes,... same as the new stock M3 is better than the stock 335I. ...but that doesn't make the person with a better car more superior.

De-badging, re-badging, or "homo" doesn't matter as long as you like it

Actually, I like this idea very much. it'd look great on a dark colored car IMO

335i people are performance ariented people, IMO
A mixture of both, presumably, but not based on bronco's logic. It seems more likely a badge-conscious person would not want to risk putting a 335i badge when others can immediately identify by the exhaust pipes that this is a result of a car owner with too much time on their hands.
