I resurfaced my flywheel , replaced the pilot bearing, throw out bearing, arm, trans bolts, pressure plate bolts, flywheel bolts etc. along with the rear main seal also. Might as well do what you can while your in there.
Any other thoughts on replacing the rear main?
Might as well do it.
I did on mine just for peace of mind

Just spoke with ACT; they said their six puck holds 480 tq which is about where I'm at. I really don't wanna get a puck style clutch though. They said they didn't have a full face clutch that would hold the tq. Any luck finding anything other than hpf? Hpf was $$$$$...

I've got both the HDSD (street disk) and the HDR6 (6 puck) in stock. Dzenno made 500wtq on his HDSD, no problem.

Y is it so important to replace the FW? I spoke to my mechanic he said that it all depends on how the fly Wheel looks, if it really burn then yes but otherwise no need.
He also told me that Dual Mass Fly wheels can't be resurface, that they can only be turn so much to get them clean but that's abt it.
They never done any clutches on 335i but they have on a lot other imports.
I'm around 435hp and 505lbs at the wheel, so not sure if the ACT can put out. I don't wanna buy a clutch then have to replace it 10k miles after. I don't beat my car either, no track time, weekend car only, and may be 10-15 passes at the drag strip per year.

If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't try...

But anything is DIY'able if you have the right tools and know how.

get new trans bolts.
My spec kit came with a pilot bearing and t/o bearing so you don't need to get one separate.

HPF has a clutch install video that will help you if you are doing it solo.

The part number I've always found for them was for a set of the bolts not just one. I think there were 6?
