Those pics are similar to my problem on the driver side at the V. I noticed it right after the guy installed it. I tried to fix it myself by sticking some of the doublesided tape back there, but it didnt work. I will try again soon. Maybe I should post pics.

I have a really small gap but it still looks damn good. The tape was 1/6" thick from Advance Autoparts and worked like a champ. That sucker isnt going anywhere.
The lip was the icing on the cake for this car. It really makes the vehicle flow better. Maybe this weekend I can get some shots of the entire package (springs, wheels, painted reflectors, black grills, exposed IC, OEM lip and Tint). Thanks again for your help everyone. |

I just installed my aero lip, i didnt use any tape and you dont need it. For the best results go to the BMW dealer and buy the adhesive kit, follow the directions on how to prep and apply the adhesive. Have someone help you hold it in place for 5mins and DONE!!

well your friend has a spoiler and it sits on top making it easy to sustain the elements but the lip sits up and water can come down into it, making the tape very weak over time and it will give out. Well this is from experience, ive seen this happen besides its a 50k car not some civic with a full body kit installed then seeing the road/elements eat it up. It was just a suggestion if he wants to use tape then its up to him but i want perfection!
