I dont know how you came to the assumption that 60k after tax is right. If your really paying over MSRP or paying markups for this car then i feel sorry for you

49500 not including factory aerokit for $1200 or taxes or tags.

BTW, mines fully loaded minus parking distance control and active cruise.

Great deal, mine was about that without premium and a manual trans. I think with taxes and tags ended up with just under 49k to bring it home.

Happy as a pig in s***

I guess it is possible. I went to BMWNA web site and clicked every option I could find on a 335i coupe to get a max MSRP of $56,420. Add in $4,513 tax plus registration and you are slamming right at $61,000!!

Not the options I would select, but is is possible. One would think a dealer is going to have a tough time moving a 335i this heavily optioned.

Yea see......so its not so strange that i got mine for around 60k. We sat down with my client advisor and checked off everything i wanted in my special order and the msrp was around 56k so yup after tax and whatever 60k sounds right. Whatever, it was worth it, i love the car.

If you don't want your bumper drilled, find out who the service prep manager is and tell him yourself. Also, it doesn't hurt to hint that there might be a little something in it for him if the job is done well. It will be $20 bucks well spent!

Man, not many people can stomach 60K for a 3 series me included, so they get only the must have options. This car gets very expensive fast the more opotions you pick. Blanket statements about price paid without exact options list don't help. You can add almost 20K to the damn car in options alone! Waaaaah

are you SURE its a 335i coupe, and not a 335i convertible....60k after taxes sounds about right for a 335i convertible. if you piad that much for a coupe...you just raped in the ass with out anal lube.

WTF??????? Is this a joke?? Are CA dealerships marking up prices because of demand?? That is absolutely egregious IMO. I have a 4 week old 335i which I ordered and paid the exact same price (~46K) as BMWNA web site showed with "build your own." They would not come down on price, but shit, at least it was not marked up!!! That is ludicrous. I would purchase out of state and tell them to shove it if faced with same situation. If this is true, I would report this to BMW AG Germany as well.

This poster is a CA at Sterling BMW in Newport Beach, a high end, fancy dealership on the water, wedged between a Ferrari dealership and a Rolls Royce dealership that expects people with lots of money to come in and spend all that money on a BMW because, well, as his posts indicate, they have a lot of money and they are buying a BMW and its just the right thing to do. And if you decide you want ot try and negotiate with this particualr CA at Sterling, he simply tells you that he doesnt want your business. he doesnt want to deal with anybody that is educated and informed, people he refers to as "moochers".

OP, next time, you should go through the Internet department directly. Phillipe K is a board sponsor over on bimmerfest.com and is very well liked and respected on that site, he is an Internet Manager at Irvien BMW in fact. There are a couple of other dealers I like, even one at Sterling, but again they are all in the internet depts and realize they are dealing with educated buyers that have done their research.

The shitty CA's are the ones out on the point waiting for the next sucker, Mr. Newport Beach moneybags, to come walking up.
