no he can drive....if i had bfg dr on and i foot braked to 2700rpm and hooked i would have beat him good. yes the c6 is faster after 110 and up...

No one will buy a Supersprint cat back unless they lower their ridiculous sticker price. I believe that the entire system (dp, cats and catback) is $8-9k This system makes sense in a $220k F430 but not on a $40k car.

Borla just came out with a new TBE with 30whp/10tq gains, but the baseline dyno shows suspicious low numbers (250whp on a dynojet), about 25-35 less than average.

Just go with the Yank TH400 setup, who needs OD? With that much power you can run 3.15s to keep the RPMS down while driving through the pits.

I'm glad to see I'm won't be too far from vette HP/speed with the 335i. I was really leaning towards picking up a C6, (last car was a modded LS1 TA) but I relocate for work so often (next project could easily be a northern state) that the 2 seater is just a little impraticle. Current plan is to rock a sedan until I settle down a bit, then pick up a vette (zo6?) for the weekend play toy.

i can get on pretty cheap too!
torque tube is shortened/modded the tranny housing is modded out/input shafts modded and all.
serouisly though terry i wanna get od and lock up. i wanna car that reliable got 150 plus in the 1/4 and still be quite and civil!

You got the info a little wrong. Borlas setup is secondary catback. In other words it doesn't remove either set of cats or the crimped pipe around the secondarys so I doubt it offers any significant increase in flow and therefore no significant gains. Maybe 5 ponnies or so from replacing the oem mufflers.

If the 4L80e holds up you should be OK, they are heavy though. Probably pick up 80# in dead weight over the TH400? Plus you need that $600 tcom computer to run it. If you can run 150 and also get say 16mpg on the highway, that will be one sweet ride.

oh definately!
16mpg 15X quiet and somewhat reliable would be the BOMBSIZE="7"][/SIZE]

plus do a 1 mile run....hit 210 220 mph:rocks: :rocks:
