That's a bit of a haul for me, but for $500 it's definitely worth it. I have to buy new brakes and disks first so it may be a few weeks before I can do this, but keep us updated and I'll PM when you I'm ready. Thanks for the info!

Sure sounds good. If you need your brakes done they can do that too.

Not yet, I've been working like crazy and haven't had time to have them do it. Still planning on it though.

This is just for the Turbo 335i? This clean up does not apply for NA engines? (328)

only direct injection engines. of course you could get your intake valves cleaned, always a good idea no matter what car you have.

Did you get this done? If so what method do they use? Chemical or Walnut shell blasting?

I tried to find contact info for Win Sportz but was unsuccessful is doing so... I ended up calling Reeves BMW is Tampa and spoke to Greg C. in their service department. He quoted me $550-$600 for walnut-shell blasting. I'll be taking mine in soon. Idk if you guys are still interested in getting it done

Hey guys! For what it's worth I have been doing intake cleaning(walnut blasting) in South Florida (Coral Springs to be exact). I have been charging local guys $400 and people from out of town $350. A couple of people have come down and made a weekend out of it- just saying. PM me if you are interested!

LivnLife31,
That's a good price. I am in Tampa and I was curious how long does it take for you to do the job? Are there any other parts/items you need to do the job? I may have to get my water pump and thermostat done this week but I am definitely interested in having my valves blasted soon (insert dirty joke here lol).

I am definitely interested too. I got a buddy who lives in Davie. How far are you from that area?

Has anyone found a shop other than the dealer? I need to get this and my valve cover gasket replaced in the very near future.

Called them and they don't have the equipment yet. I found a shop in St. Pete that is well known and will do the walnut blasting and valve cover gasket for $900.00 which is about $500.00 cheaper than the dealer. I'm probably going with them.

If your up for the drive to Jax, I'd do it for considerably less than 900.

I just dropped off the car at European Performance in St. Pete for the VCG and Walnut Blasting. Found them on bimmershops.com if you want to check them out http://www.bimmershops.com/florida/european-performance

I will check back in with a review.
