It paired nicely with the gloss black grilles.
yeh man that's also my goal. when i first looked at the black kidneys i was very happy but at a distance the bottom mesh just didn't fit in.

fingers crossed i am wrapped when i get a good look tomorrow morning, when i finished tonight it was dark and i was going off the gararge light.

2nd coat plus fills

got a 2nd light coat on this morning, used the foam brush. looking great so far, i prefer to paint then spray, used brush on centre mesh tunred out better then quarters. i also used a small paint brush to fill in missed spots....

for any run over, i used nail polish remover and a cotton wipe to remove, works a treat.

Thanks BMJOE!

My car is already de-badged. The previous owner de-badged it because, according to what he told me, everyone wanted to race him!

I ordered a gloss black "335i" badge to complement the black theme on the car.

Not a fan of CF! I think the OEM aero lip painted to the car's colour is much better.

I am also getting sick of the racers, thinking about taking the 335i off this weekend. also i don't mind the clean look.

yeh either you're CF fan or not, i am still unsure about doing the interior in CF...

No they're OEM BMW Performance grills which come in gloss black. Price wise depends on who you get it from and can range roughly from 130 - 180.

By the way, the OEM ones in the first link above are $50 per grill (purchased separately).

Thank you for the information. I only discovered this site after a recommendation from some one on forums-whirlpool. I ahve never thought of altering my stock standard BM, but I really like what I have seen.

MO3, do you have any more front-on pictures? I've been thinking about blacking out my grills but wasn't sure what it would look like on space grey... in your pictures the car doesn't even look space grey! more like graphite.
