I don't see a problem with it really, just another way to meet someone. It's not like any of you guys would be opposed to hooking up with a hot chick on this forum if the opportunity came up. :P

I met my wife on J-date. I was a member there off and on for a year or so, and most of the girls were faking their pictures, weight, etc. I went on a lot of crappy dates. I met my wife her first day posting on the site. She had hundreds of hits that day. I got lucky. I never would have met someone like her out around town or through friends. I practice medicine, so it's very hard to date in your community as you either treat them or their family.

ya im not having much luck. all my friends say its better someone just hook me up with someone that they know that way i can skip alot of bs but i dont know. I keep having bad luck with women. i hate being the nice guy! i dont care though the online dating thing blows! i get more looks walking to get the mail then on match.com! lol

not sure exactly how the online thing works, but, fundamentally, it can't be all that different from the face-to-face experience. specifically, don't expect girls to approach you. if you're waiting to receive obvious cues or "looks", then it might be a while. women, those worth pursuing at least, are much too savvy to reveal their hand so easily. even if they're attracted to you, they won't let on.

i only mention this because you refer to yourself as a "nice guy." unless you plan to finish last, you'll have to get a bit more aggressive - without coming across as a pushy jerk.

so...turn off your computer, head down to the grocery store, coffee shop or dog walk/park. it isn't about what car you drive, but your ability to start a casual conversation & make them laugh. see, that way, when you're ready to exchange numbers, you make an excuse to go to your dope ride to get your cards, pen, whatever....bam! done-deal.
