rep wheels are the biggest waste of money sorry for those who have them. I had m6 reps way back then and one cracked within only 2 weeks and i swear to this day i never hit a pothole with them. Learned the hard the way that you get what you paid for which is really crappy wheels.

i mean NY does have tough roads, but so far all buying legit forged wheels are paying off. Volk TE37s are tanks.... I'd like to see any gravity/low pressure cast reps take the same beating as my Volks. brand new reps are already around 1k. with 2k you can buy a decent set of used forged rims. for 1k you save the headache of bending/cracking one rep and wasting hours being stranded and looking for a replacement rep.

P.S. moe why you being a stranger, i only see you lurk the forums now lol.

I would caution you against buying rep wheels; look at the F/S section - tons of bent/cracked reps. They're generally crap. And you can't be serious about wanting a set of four for less than $900.

OEM wheels go through extremely rigorous testing processes aka they're designed to have the daylights beat out of them and keep on going, for years. Pack or skip lunch for a few weeks and get some legit OEM wheels or other reputable wheels from an aftermarket company. Safer, better investment, and peace of mind.

Short note about the 313s (the real ones) - the 19" ones are forged by BBS, the 18"s are NOT.
agreed

my advice--stay far, far away from reps and budget your finances accordingly, some things aren't worth buying copies of. you're looking at OEM forged wheels vs. either low pressure or gravity cast wheels. i spent more money replacing or fixing rep wheels than a new set of volks would of cost me. my $.02

Completely agree. I had M6 miro reps and they were bent all over in 1 year. Replaced with 19" 313 OEM and no bents since. It has been 2 years. I paid $1800 for new set from Dealer in NJ. They are much less weight than reps and that means you will have less rotating mass and save on gas. OEM may end-up cheaper in long run.

thanks for the input. $1800 for 19s doesn't seem too bad. Did you have to negotiate or that was the list price?
