The black wheels on my car were bought individually off ebay as lightly curbed OEM wheels..then had them refurbished and powder coated in a satin black.
Advantage that you still have your original wheels when it comes to resell and the black/graphite whatever ones will probably fetch most of your money back resold on ebay.
The set of 19" oem M3 wheels I bought of ebay cost me ~£250 plus another £250 to powder coat.

plus one on graphite...

sometimes with black, you can't really see the design of the wheel!...but it does make the car look aggressive tho!

White with black is too high a contrast for me.

I tried this with my 18"s to protect my 19"s in the winter. Makes a nice change, but I always look forward to putting the 19"s back on

I find people want to race more when I have the black ones on.

As has been pointed out, you can't really see the design of the black ones.

It's a very popular look with the chavs up here along with black roofs and mirrors.

White cars are going out of fashion now. Only the people late to the party are buying them. Reds are what the cool kids are buying. Notice how a large number of the press cars from BMW and Audi have been red recently. Get with the programme girlfriend.

I can't even see which 18s you have. Are those MV3?

Yeah, MV3's.
Sytner Leicester or whoever they use did a really shit refurb job on them originally, so I decided to get them redone in black.

Lol - I'm actually worried you are right though! White came in as I was buying Le Mans blue, Now I'm looking at White, you are saying Red is coming in!

Guess I'm just late with the fashion. Still wearing tracksuit bottoms too!

I'm also after red leather!

Looks like I'm down with the kids (although using that phrase proves I'm not) - always wanted red but never managed before except on an X class company Jag once!

I like black wheels on white cars but they have to be a perticular type with a polished lip, like the ones below

I like it and will continue same theme with the next arrival...Too me it's not Max Power or chav as some have put it. Modification is based on individual taste and not necessarily conformity.

Individual choice of course but I don't like them, almost looks like the owner is trying too hard. You can't see the detail of the wheels in black.
