Is there no point in having the dealer change pads then? I'm booked in, but it's £260 for rear pads only and brake fluid change
I thought it was important to keep up the service history? |

You could probably buy discs, pads and sensors all round for that price. Another example of garages ripping customers off |

Wouldn't worry about anyone telling you your car dosent have a service history because you haven't let a dealer rip you off with brake parts. As Ive said earlier wear and tear parts change them when they're worn same as Tyres. |

Brakes are not part of the service routine. As guys were speaking about various brands, looking at Euro car parts website it's lists different sizes of discs and pads for the 335i even when using your registration plate. They offer both 330mm and 348mm discs. I thought all 335 had 348mm discs? Anyways looking at the prices of 4 discs, pads and 2 sensors from Textar you are looking at over £510. One of the local factors in my hometown will do a complete Mintex setup for less than half that money. |

My computer saying same. ATS checked at same time add my having 4 * tyres replaced and said i and have "like new" pads. Suggested is just the variable servicing so before you order pads, get the existing ones checked out.

I wonder if the smaller size is oem replacement part for the BMW Perf kit disc? Those are definately smaller diameter. I just bought front Pagid discs for mine this week, they are VERY like oem in quality and finish. And the runout measured witha DTI on new hubs <0.04mm which is excellent. They are very accurately made unlike the shite from EBC!
