Well figures are in the article above, personally i dont think the car could cope with anymore torque than this. Cost , well i had it cheap, but that is mainly because DMS did my previous 535D so i got a big discount.

i would say the times are pretty slow for a re-mapped 335d
i did nearly 12.7 -100 in a stock one

If you can get near 12.7 in a stock engine thats bloody amazing as after having the remap my car is totally different in performance terms.
Is it possible that you could post your data from the runs ? |

I think you will find he hasnt had a 0-100 timed, and is just guessing from his 1/4 mile run which was 102mph@13.9 seconds, so I think 100mph is more than probably nearer 13.4/5 secs.

i beat a csl m3 at the pod, in a our STOCK 335d
and did 0-100 in late 12's stock, so 12.7 to the ton seems slow for a re-mapped one to me i will be expecting an 11 something to the ton after a re-map:rocks: carl

Still not getting you - How do you work out late 12's 0-100, does it take a whole second to get to 102MPH, from 100MPH - I think not. Like I already said your 0-100 was more than likely 13.5 ish

but you do not know that?! and your right im only assuming, i was just going off other peoples times where other cars have taken between 0.5-1.0 sec to travel a few mph at that speed, a merci lp640 will travel 2mph in 0.2 sec but will a 335d? at 100 mph but i beleive i could have done a mid 13 and if i had then i would have definately done a late 12 to the ton! the 335d is a 13 sec car standard, between 13.5-13.9! just wish i had carried on to get that 13.5:rocks: after a re-map, on a good day it with a good driver it i think could do a high 12!!! the day i went to the pod, i beat a M3 csl, he prob couldn drive it but says something about the 335d, and what does the csl do to the ton again i forgot.. carl

But as has been said before its not hard to launch an auto 335D, where as to launch a CSL will take a lot of hard work, but when you get it right it will anialate most things. Well done for beating it thogh, but on another day it will beat you |

oh yes definately, a csl is a low 13-high 12 car as standard, but i do think the 335d is a match over the standing quarter with a e46 m3, as i have never seen one beat a 13.5 and i know a 335d is capable of this time in standard trim.
Even so, a low 13 to the ton is far from being shy!! there is some technique to launching an auto, but your right it would be far more challenging launching a 365bhp csl squeeze!! i once got a 16.6 out of a 318is LOL, thats not bad really for a 140bhp 1.9 bm lol carl

Guys, I'm not being awkward with this one, but why should a CSL which has an SMG 'box be more difficult to launch that a 335d?

Hi Oli, how goes it mate?
Anyone who has ever driven or owned a CSL will confirm that they only come with the SMG 'box and therefore launching one correctly is as simple as... ... |
