Guys, I had trouble reading Seth's car and couldn't connect to his car's computer at all for some odd reason. I'm going to try Noel's car on Friday evening or Saturday morning if he is available. I want to try out one more E90 before I head down to Chicago and don't want to disappoint everyone.

The cable is good and works on my 2012 X5 and I have the latest software but trying to figure out the problem... I will keep you guys posted.

I bought it with the intent of figuring out how to code the car, but just never did it. I've never tried to connect to the car though.

Looks like I have to make 5 posts and wait 24 to 48hrs before I can IM. Potentially puts me out of commission until Sunday.

Really? I thought he said, it was 2008 model and I was trying to read his vehicle with E90 files. Ok, I know the problem now and hope we are good then. I thought that was E90 preLCI since it is 2008 model.

Damn...Yeah, that was my mistake and should have double checked the chassis before spending 3 hours last night. He was so nice and calm and not yelling at me.

Tonight, I'm going to meet Noel and it is e90 for sure and going to read his vehicle to double check my software and cable works for e90. I will update the thread by tonight. Just a relief.

I have this cable http://www.tmart.com/Interface-USB-O...W_p101210.html that others have used, and I have successfully coded my fuel injectors with it, but thats about it
