I went with The AA dp, i looked at The vrsf And they taper to 2.5 at The end, that defeats The purpose IMO, i had ”2.5 high flow cats” On one of my supercharged cars And they tapered to 2.25 at The end just like The vsrf, put a full catless 2.5 pipe And The acceleration was better.

I went with VRSF's but there may be a little wait if you order now. They are in really high demand right now. I ordered Jan 28th and Got my tracking # yesterday. I figured they were worth the wait so I stuck with them.

I ordered vrsf. Apparently they only got half of the orders. So I got email saying that the people that had to wait for the second shipment get a free ceramic coating option

AR and some other companys give out life time warranty and 100% fitment guaranteed too right?

Don't forget CP-e its a great pipe and it has a bell mouth inlet and made in the US. Shipped same day from Jeff@TGS.
All of our back orders will be fulfilled by this upcoming Friday or Monday depending on when our FedEx shipment arrives.

Any orders placed from here on will arrive on our next shipment which is scheduled to arrive in about 4-5 weeks.

Thanks for the support guys

Based on this review, it seemed to taper to 2.25: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=622081

Unless the downpipes are revised or something

That measurement is a bit off as you can see from where they are measuring (top side of the circle) rather than at the middle.

I've got used pipes laying around from last batch and a set on my car from the first batch that are all 2.5".

No official dynos yet. We're waiting for the final version of our catback & FMIC to get released so we can do the comparisons all at once.

They all taper down to meet the stock exhaust. (You cant feed a 3 inch pipe into a smaller pipe without it tapering). If a manufacturer wanted to produce a true 3 inch exhaust that mated to a true 3inch downpipe that would be ideal, however, extreme overkill.

They all go to 2.5, which is why I personally dont see how a 3 inch dp going down to a 2.5 inch exhaust will outperform a 2.5 inch downpipe. Lol but apparently dynos say otherwise.
Op get vrsf!

Actually, to be technical I do believe they all taper to slightly less than 2.5. I don't think the stock exhaust inner diameter is 2.5 but a little less. The point here being that you can't get around the taper unless you want to make downpipes that only fit an aftermarket exhaust.

Received mine from vrsf and quality and welds are very good. Welds are light years from plm, which I also had for a brief time, and expectations for the fitment are very high.

Op get the vrsf
