In all fairness, the guy he bought it from said he was the "second" owner, so the first owner could've been the one to have butchered the pipe.

Regardless, it's a great looking car OP. Hope everything works out for you.

ok!!!! Got the pipe in thanks to an awesome member on herre that hooked me up! the whole pipe comes as an assembly that has a rubber coupler on the end where that hacked pipe was. I dont know if the Former Owner lost it or what but you CANNOT buy just that pipe from the dealer... you have to buy the coupler and hard pipe as one assembly. I installed that and put the charge pipe back together. And while the downpipes were out i ended up buying a set of the VRSF catless pipes and installed those too. Fitment was beautiful and the tone that these give is amazing! Not loud but noticable. Still maintains the luxury feel and sound of the car and it runs like it should have from the get go!!! Super pleased with everything!!!

This guy wasn't trying to hide that he modified the car. In fact, he mentioned that he was running a JB3 on it. Disclosing that you're running a tune is definitely the last thing you should say if your trying to hide modifications.

Do u perhaps know the part number for this? Looks like I will also have to replace this as my turbo's have been whining for a while, getting quite loud now so I need to get them checked out. Only problem is that I cut the permanent factory clamp holding the rubber coupler to the CP so that I could install my ETS IC. Dont want to take the risk of taking my car into BMW with a T-clamp in place. They will most probably try blame the aftermarket clamp for the problem, and cancel my service plan. BTW what did you end paying for the charge pipe and rubber coupler. Am based in South Africa so will be interesting to see the comparison in price, might be worthwhile importing it?

I noticed that the vacuum lines are not clipped where they should be (on the coolant expansion tank) and that the cable harness is just hanging.
