As an avid BMW fan, I'm always sad deep down myself to know that BMW has not or may not produce a supercar like the Audi R8 without all the exaggerated design seen on that 2008 M1 which isn't my taste. Simplicity means beauty and that is definitely not the BMW i8 or 2008 M1. A simply design like the Ferrari F430 or 458 is what we need.

Nice shots as usual Dackel. Also, don't you mean the, "M1, M1 Homage and the M1 Concept."?

The precursor to the i8 was the Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept. Yes the Hommage has some design language elements that were further pursued but you can't say it was the "precursor", they called it an Hommage for a reason. It was just a modern interpretation of a classic.

Here is the engine bay of the "Turbo"

I believe its called: Liquid Orange. I Googled the color and found this...

The Homage’s Liquid Orange paintwork was exclusively developed for the Homage with BMW claiming that it “cites the classic BMW M1 colour, yet surprises with its powerfully iridescent play of colour and brilliant depth”.

thanks Dackelone, at the moment I am not serious so to speak. But if I ever decide to repaint my car it could be one of the options, given I can source the paint, I am still in love with LSB, but this one looks simply great, somewhat similar to VO, but not as orange, more like red, I like it... a lot!

wrap is not an option, as we already saw how easy it's to damage it... will not hold up the wear and tear...
