You need a Front Lip to carry off a Performance Spoiler on the Trunk. Without it the look is too aggressive.

I just bought the sedan version of the spoiler shown in the thread above (M3 style). Vendor quality is excellent considering the price.

Both look good IMO and I've seen both on E92's. If you want a more aggressive look, go with the performance spoiler. If you won't a more refined performance statement, go with the M3. M3 spoiler is difficult to make out on a car over 120 feet away, but I'm sure you could see the performance spoiler from that distance. What kind of style/statement are you trying to make?

+1 M3. Performance spoiler is too much IMO. But as others said, it's all about the style you're looking for.

I went with the M3 lip from the same eBay seller mentioned above for $59 shipped and painted in BSM. Looks great and I was going for the subtle look. Both are nice, just wanted something a little less aggressive.

In the winter I would raise my ride height, take off my summer wheels and put back on my smaller run flats. I could get over with the M3 spoiler but with the aggressive performance spoiler the car would look weird.

Which vendors carry the high kick version of the performance spoiler? All of the ones on ebay seem to be the low kick ones that don't look very good.

The OP asked for an opinion, not you. I stated my opinion, as well as I think is sporty and agressive. I don't have to like that look. Quit being so hostile.
