I have had a lot of customers with 6MTs and PBX and they love it as well. For the price its a great mod to do to the car. Jut don't expect JB4 like gains and you will be very happy with the PBX

I purchased the PBX through you a while back if you remember (great service btw, still a fan of your shop).

Maybe its just that its been so long since I last had the PBX installed on the car but as I remember, it really made pulling into parking spots and such in MAP 3 a science because of how touchy the throttle was.

Aside from that, I don't really remember that big of a difference. Just my experience anyway.

I've asked BMS about it before and they have said if there is demand they would consider making another PBX that was more like the N54 JB4 with a full PNP harness including new slide in subconnectors, in dash gauges, steering wheel controls, etc. But they said retail price would need to be around $399 for it to make sense and they were not sure how demand would be given there isn't much power to be added to the N52 motor. So it would mostly be for the extra features and a little easier install process.

Yea the needle sweep would be dope an some of the other aspects. Use that for the cool stuff and AA tune for the engine tune.

Randomly questioning, does the pbx affect the opening of the actuator for thethrottle body? Is that why its such a big difference? Like engauging it earlier than normal?
