It's not just here that there is no mention of a battery amplifier. There is no mention of such a part for any car on the internet. He must just be calling it that and it is really another part like some sort of transformer in the fuse box or altonator or something .

You sure it wasn't the flux capacitor that was draining the battery?

I had another non start since collecting the car, but this time started fine moments later and every time since.

Not filled with confidence, i Posted my issue on the general forum and seems could be a dodgy starter motor. Does anyone know how much and Indy will charge to supply and fit a new one?
