The wheel repair shop at Park Place in Bellevue can paint them! Honest guys that will give you a very fair quote. Or call Speedware Motorsports in redmond they can powder coat them

Thumbs up for Joe at Topline Motorworks in Kent. He just did my CDV delete and he is very professional. The xdrive can make this job a righteous PITA and he got it done in under an hour.

+1 for Signature BMW in Kirkland
Signature got me in and out in less than 1 1/2 hours with no appointment necessary for brake flush and an early oil change.
Broadstroke is having an oil change special right now that gets it down to around $70, but getting it done today trumps getting it done next week. Only downside is one of the techs decided to scream at the top of his lungs at someone out back. Love seeing someone working around my car having a temper tantrum and slamming a clipboard around. |

I was curious about replacing my halogen light fixtures with Xenon (and/or Angel Eyes?); is that something the local shops will do? If so, what would be recommended?
(I know it's possible to do them yourself, but I am not exactly equipped to do anything of the sort >.<) |

Hi all,
I'm looking at a CPO vehicle at BMW Northwest, and would like to get a PPI done as well. Any recommendation for a indy shop in or around Tacoma that can do PPI? thanks! |

I just want to give a big recommendation to Seattle Wheel Service, they repaired my (Style 219 gunmetal) curb rashes and it was done nicely. Better than I expected. David was there and they are now located in Kent, WA (formerly in Fremont). They only specialize in wheel repairs. Really cool guys, responsive and they keep promises. They warranty their work from paint peeling. The biggest surprise was the price. They are about 40-50% less than I was quoted from Federal Way, Tacoma and Bellevue places which I had doubts when talking to them. If anyone need repairs, hit them up and mention e90post. Also, thank you the forum and members for compiling lists like this. Now I'm proud to detail my wheels. |

Hi all,
Along with a request for advice, this is also an introduction. I'm a long time Seattle resident who recently moved to Redmond. Grew up with Fords, then moved to Toyota (Supras). Now I have a e36 (96 ti) with 320K on the clock (runs perfect!) and a Peugeot 505 turbo (!) I've had since 1999. Picked up a e90 (98 328i) last Saturday at a used car lot in Auburn. I buy cars this way for some reason. Picked a 3 series 'cause PSA (Citroen) hasn't/won't come back and BMW is the leader. Why they're more affordable than Lexuses is beyond me. $10,200 with 115K on the clock. Runs great, no major issues (I hope!). This car is really nice! ![]() Small issues: Only have one key. It's dead. Remote doesn't work. I have to use the mechanical key. Need two functional fobs - hear a dealer visit is the only way to get this. Recommendations? Also, cranks too slow. I suspect battery needs replacing. Still have heated seats and other electrical services so a phased shutdown/preservation/one-last-start protocol has not been initiated. But, I think I'll need a good shop to properly register and possibly code a battery. Recommendation there would so be nice. Thanks in advance and hope I can learn and contribute a little. |
