How much are you guys paying for an oil change at an indy?

$97 at a indy mechanic, uses BMW Oil and Filter.

$90 at indy with synth oil. Cost of parts is close enough to make it irrelevant DIY ($50 in oil alone).

Just for reference - syn oil is probably about $56 in the US per 7 quart change. Anyone can order a filter kit for ~$8. Add a set of ramps and a 17mm socket and you can change it yourself easy as pie. I can change my oil in about the time it would take me to arrange an appointment somewhere, let alone driving there, waiting etc....

Unfortunately here in Canada, syn oil averages $12/qt so we're looking at $84 in oil alone unless you're lucky to find a sale.

Indy charges about 90-110 while the dealership charges twice as much lol.
