To be honest my buddy had 2 fire extinguishers with his car fire;1 was his extinguisher and another was a guy passing by, still didnt put the fire out. Scary stuff.

AAA card, Basic tools for tune/wheel/brake change, fire extinguisher, fix a flat. Don't need a weapon. My anger for breaking down will suffice.

i used to be over zealous with my "emergency kit", especially when going to the track/autox. but turns out, if i were to break something, it'd be something major.
no amount of tools can fix busted heat exchanger lol.
it's amazing how quick the coolant can drain out.

nowadays i just have fix-a-flat, air compressor, fire extinguisher and a 24/7 tow company number.
