Curb weight 3871 lb
Weight dist, f/r 57/43% Not sure if want. It's gonna be a ridiculously fun car to dick around. Probably not so much around a road course though. |

The 2012 SVTPP Shelby was as fast as the BOSS in the only same day, same driver test that I know of (IL and the Shelby actually put in a better time). We all know where the BOSS sits in relation to a certain unnamed BMW.... And the '13 Shelby is shitloads faster than the '12.... I'm sure it'll be fine on a road course. Not only that, but it's reportedly more forgiving at/near the limit and has some heavy duty cooling added. It'll still soak, but it's going to murder some "twisties only" cars on road courses. You can bet on it. |

Whatsup Kevin! Question: How much does your e90 weigh?? Even if an e90 was 200lbs lighter, I would think the extra 255hp would more than make up for it. I think the Boss is about the same weight as the m3's, that would be the drivers car. But 660hp and that huge powerband can't be ignored.

It's not the cheap plasticky stuff you find in a base Mustang. |

Yeah the plastics seem to be a tad higher quality in the E9X, not going to argue that.
But people have to remember what makes the Mustang so great is the fact that you can get it for (relative) beans compared to competitors on the performance level. When we start nitpicking about LRA, interior plastics, etc.... Then we end up with a Mustang carrying a price tag that's uncharacteristically high. I'd rather stomach the slight downgrade in plastics, and I think Ford has found their target demographics to agree. Also, one thing a lot of people forget is that the seats are part of the interior. BMW for some reason seems to be lagging in this category. It's not a German thing, because the other Germans have caught on, but for some reason BMW has not. |

The ZSP and M seats are very good, excellent compared to base seats.... But still fall short of the Recaros you can get in a lot of competitors these days. IMHO of course. |

You might like the Recaros seats better but that doesnt mean BMW seats are lagging compared to its german counterparts. |

But based on that opinion, one would either come to the conclusion that BMW either is or isn't lagging. So it's entirely subjective. |

I haven't sat inside of a new Boss or Shelby. I don't remember Stangs ever being known for quality interiors, though if you're buying a Boss or Shelby, I think it's laughable to even put that on the list of must haves considering the purpose of these cars. But the CTS-V is kind of a weird comparison in my mind, having sat inside of one.

The reason the GT500 cost so little is because you have to compromise. If it had the same interior as the M3 it would cost the same or more. |

I clearly dont know what I'm talking about and I owned both a 335i and an M3? Get the sand out of your ears. I'm talking about the layout and 90% of the materials. The only things that differ are the seats and the steering wheel. They are both compromise vehicles because of the lesser models they share 90% of the parts with.
