First of all it was hilarious. But if you read the descrition of the video he says at 2:00 he almost got shot. You can see the guy with long corn rows pointing a gun. So yes he's lucky to be alive. But it was still funny as hell.

It's what the majority of Miami-Dade county looks like. As soon as you go west of Brickell it starts to go downhill. There are some other nice areas besides the beach but not too many.
