Ah, That is a good point. I should have noted its best to just increase in increments of 5 or 10% depending.

OK awesome guys... will adjust the OL Fueling and datalog again.

I fixed the AFR graph... It looks pretty crazy, but I guess since my fuel trims maxed out, I was running really lean there... and then once the fueling kicked in the AFR's dropped appropriately.

is there any negative side effects for having the % too high? like if you only need 85% and you set it to 100%?

I increased my OL Fuel by 5% and the NLS shifting felt better... but the fuel trims looked like they kept maxing out... here is at OL Fuel at 100%

I'm running Stage 3. Still on a trial period that ends on Monday... so if I can't sort this out by Monday, might have to stick with the Cobb... =/ I e-mailed some 3rd to 4th gear pulls to Robert@vishnu today and hopefully he'll get back to me soon.

Couldn't agree with you more. When the procede decides to implemnt its perfect way of doing things, fueling is terrifying. So lean-run is enabled in these maps right?

Back on topic. OP: First reset all adaptations. Then up your OL to 90. Then disable NLS and do a few 3rd gear pulls. Then datalog a non-NLS pull and repost. It doesnt appear your entering CL fueling at all.

edit: before doing the above, reload the firmware and map on the procede too. Ensure you follow the readme commands for resetting and what not.

I think if anything this is a testament to how wonderful our DME is, and how robust the N54 is as well. In most cases, this would equal a grenaded engine.

Seriously, that's fucking scary. Lean spikes that bad near peak torque is definitely not a good, or even acceptable, situation

Just replace the vanos solenoids. It easy to do. Injectors aren't too bad either but they need to be coded.

I had exactly same issue on stg 3 but I had all injectors replaced under warranty, they've recommended switching to stg2 and ol 100 and that combo seems to had fixed the fueling issue for me. Let us know about the vanos solenoids if that works for you I might be end up changing the as well.

More along the lines of how you can get away with bloody murder with DI... to a point.

Oddly, I never had any of these fuel trim oddities on Procede when I ran it. Only issue with it was timing flatline.

Re-install Cobb and log. I'll be willing to bet your AFR will be perfect and your STFTs will be spot on. The PROcede cannot control fueling as it should be and hardware is almost certainly not your problem.

Yeah, if you still have COBB, you might as well try it and log your AFR. At least it would help you out and let you know if it is indeed a hardware problem and not tune related.

OP, IIRC, AFR wasn't your issue with Cobb. You had massive timing correction activity it seems. Valve cleaning maybe?

Try disabling NLS and shift normally just for testing purposes?
