Your 328 was a single side exhaust, converting a 335i (dual exhaust) to a single exit exhaust would look & sound ricey as fuck since you'd have to install a large muffler/exhaust tipe to prevent any restriction. If you put a small/OEM sized tip, back pressure would be created which would decrease performance & make the whole project a waste of money
guru_method -- IF I misunderstand you it's because you mentioned a single exhaust, if you meant two single tips (a dual exhaust) then that's the OEM 335i setup and doesn't look stupid |

As far as looks, I agree that it would look weird having the empty hole in the bumper. I was going to putting a dummy tip one side so it would look better. I predict as more single turbos come out we'll start seeing single exhausts. |

Supra exhaust sounds amazing though. It sounds like a proper I6. Want to know what SOUNDS ricey as shit? A stock-turboed 335i with no cats.

I would like a single exit as well, but it still have the performance aspect and sound. cant seem to find something that fits the bill, as i want to go with the mtech 328 rear bumper.

Has anyone done it, i also don't like the sound of my 335is with catless downpipe and resonators where the secondary catalytics go, i wonder if it would sound like a 135 or 535

This is surprising. Since losing the DP cats, my car sounds amazing. I wouldn't have guessed it'd get that bad with the downstream cat removed.

For comparison...here is my 07' 335i with DP's, and secondaries swapped out for vibrant resonators....stock mufflers. I actually really like it....it's quite when cruising around or on the highway, but sounds sounding my better once you get the RPM's up.
Flows good enough to let the car run 10's in the 1/4....so it's not like it's holding it back much. I have the burbles set to "light"..... Oh, and it's not smoking...it was 35 degrees out last night....so you are going to see some steam coming out of the hot exhaust.
