Logic 7

Will this unit work with the Logic 7 Hifi amplifier?

http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...1&d=1209780605

This picture shows my concerns dealing with the Fiber Optic cable.

Could you maybe use a aftermarket amp and still be able to use all 9 speakers?

Another question is how is the installment dealing with the heated seat buttons under the AC controls?

Looks like a great product and i am interested.

Hi Lawsonjrdn, thanks for your interest! Since your Logic 7 amp is the Fiber Optic cable, with digital signal, our unit can't work with it. Our unit can work with those analog signal amp. Hope you can understand.

About the 9 speaker, from the picture you provided, it should be 5.1 channel outputs, if you get an aftermarket 5.1 channel analog amp, you could connect our unit to the 9 speakers without problem.

About the heated seat buttons under the AC controls, if you install our D5114 unit, these buttons can't be installed.

Anyway, our unit is still quite affordable all-in-one unit with many good features, and with a steady & fast chip, can totally satisfy your need! Welcome to join the group buy!

Your ride must be bumping on the road for a long time, is Eonon unit steady enough to get through this?

What about the screen and body? Tough enough? Here we go!

Let's watch the 5th Compression & Shock Resistance Test together!

Hi faboR6, thanks a lot for your interest! I've notice there're about 15 people interested in our D5114 unit( including people in the public post, PM and Email).
But you're the 1st would like to join the group buy! Thanks for your support! You'll be the 1st one on our GB list!

Any more guys would like to join the group buy?

Recently our group buy of D5113 BMW E46 GPS is activated in a UK forum, since there're enough 10 people would like to join. They trust in Eonon a lot after watching the D5113 video and some Steady Eonon Test videos. Many D5113 reviews will come out soon in the near future, I'll share with you. Hope you like!

Although D5113 is for E46, D5114 is for E9*, the functions of them are nearly the same, and using the same software and processor. So I think it will be useful to you too!

Just stay tuned guys!

Not being able to install the heated seat buttons and the other bottons for the all wheel drive and rear window sun visor is not a good thing for me

I was hoping to get in on this but not now, maybe there is a way you all can figure out a way to still have all of those buttons installed with your unit in the future ?

Hi phozenstone, thanks a lot for your interest!

I've PM the group buy price for you, would you like to join?

About the installation, actually it's very easy, since the unit is plug and play, but if you want to know more about it, please refer to our user manual here, there're some basic wiring instruction: http://www.eonon.com/upload/Instructions/D5114.pdf

Hi obert, currently we only know the heated seat buttons can't be installed, but for other whel drive, did you mean the steering wheel control? If so, the SWC can definitely work without problem. If not, what specific buttons do you refer to?

About the rear window sun visor, did you mean you want to use a sunvisor monitor and a back up camera for reversing? If so, there's no problem connection them to our D5114, since there're video out and back sight video input in the unit. It's easy to mount them together.

Thanks a lot for your advice to the heated seat buttons compatibility, OK I've reflected to our R&D, hope they can find a way in the future. If there's any news, I'll update you, please keep an eye on us, thanks!

I was looking into buying a 09 328xi and believe it or not a lot of decision was riding on this unit. It looks great and looks like it performs great. The price also pretty damn good too considering other (worse IMO) units go for much more. I, like others was really disappointed that using this unit will get rid of the heated seats controls. I did a little more research and there seems to be a solution. A kit to relocate the buttons to the ashtray without any custom work or modifications. Here is the link. http://www.metraonline.com/part/98-9306

Hi john, thanks a lot for your compliment to our unit! About the heated seats controls issue, I've reflected it to the factory, hope they could do some improvement in the future, using dual can bus system to make it work. Not sure now, but any news, I'll update you guys asap!

Many thanks for sharing your knowledge john, but I've consulted our tech about your solution just now, it's not applicable. Since our unit doesn't have the dual can bus system, even if you add a relocation kit, the heat seated buttons still can't be used. Hope you can understand. Thanks!

On the all wheel drive model there is another button were the heated seat buttons are call the Hill Descent Control (HDC). And if the car has a rear window sun shade the come up and cover the rear window that button is also there with the heater seat buttons.

So if they could figure out a way to just have the row of button on the bottom I am sure a lot more people would be looking into getting this unit for their car.

Thanks for the reply

Yeah I am a little confused. All this kit does is relocate the buttons right? So how would your head unit make these buttons not work? I've seem others use the dynavin unit and this relocation kit and all works fine?

Hi obert, thanks for your explanation. Now I know the HDC, yes as I've checked with our tech, this button can't be used with our unit too.

But if our dual can bus is possible to adopt in the future unit, both the heater seat buttons & the HDC buttons can work with our unit.

Your advice is quite decent and valuable, thank you very much! Any news in the future, I'll update you guys, just stay tuned!

Hi john, I've confirmed with our tech again, even if with the relocation kit, the heater seat buttons still can't work with our unit, since it doesn't have the dual can bus system. Hope you can understand.

For the dynavin unit, did you refer to their DVN-E9X model? If so, this dynavin unit has the dual can bus system, so if adding that kit, the heater seat buttons can work the unit.

If not, please kindly PM me their model No. Thanks!

So I thought I implied my question I'm sorry. To make it clear, what you are saying is that the heated seats and even the relocation kit plug into the head unit somehow? I do not own a e90 yet do I am not familiar with the workings. Do if it's all wired through the head unit I can understand why it would affect the buttons. Otherwise I am still lost. Sorry for sounding naive. I am just bummed because I dont want the car if I can't have heated seats. I'm moving back to NH after living in AZ for a few years. I will need all the heat I can get.

thats a bummer..not sure why heated seats and HDC won't work... i have a Dynavin and the button panel is not affected by the Dynavin whatsoever other than relocation.

Hi John, sorry if I didn't clarify very well. You mean the future resolution for the unit right? If so, there's no relocation kit needed to plug into the head unit, since the heated seats and hill descent control will be both incorporated into the unit's can bus system, you only need to operate via the buttons on the head unit is OK.

Hope this time is clear

When will this be available?

Let me simplify my question again. Do the buttons to the heated seats get plugged into the head unit? I can't see why the car would be wired this way. But I also can't see why the unit would affect these buttons if this were not the case.
