He seems to be clear, it comes from the UK Cooper factory.

Addendum: As to the 'IS muffler version, that one is the 335i OEM stock with some guts removed.

I asked the vendor on this forum on the diff between the PE and Is and he said they sound very different. And well they are also very different in price.

The the IS exhaust is the tame cousin of the PE. They are definately not the same.

I will make some video with GoPro HD2 camera so you will know exactly what is the difference between open and closed flop. Anyhow, you can get used it it's not that bad. I just can't imagine starting the engine in a big garage, that would wake up everyone
I would recon titanium with welded flap, cheaper and better solution.
