I did the install of all the LED bulbs in the last couple of days. Several technical difficulties that I encountered:
1. I burnt a 10A fuse when I replace the glove box light, which caused the A/C and trunk light to not work on top of the glove box light 2. The 6LED plate from Bavarian Auto does not fit the trunk light housing. The 42mm 12 LED matrix from v-leds.com is too small to fit right. I'm ordering a 3rd bulb for test fitting. 3. The 9 LED SMT tower for the driver side footwell and both under door fit a little tighter in the housing. I guess I have to trim a plastic piece inside the housing to make it fit perfect. 4. The two Luxer 1 24LED from Bavarian Auto that I purchased went into the overhead center console lights after flipping the polarity of the cables around multiple. Apparently, they randomly solder the cable on to the circuit board, so sometimes the polarity is swapped...... Pics to follow this weekend. Waiting to get my License Plate LED Housing and PIAA Map / Reading light LED bulbs

OP quick question, some users were saying when they changed their filament bulbs to LED than the fading of the lights would not work. instead it just goes from on to off instead of the gradual dimming effect. Have you experienced this with your LEDs by any chance?

I'll let you know when I get them. It's enroute to Boston by EMS along with a bunch of other crap that my wife ordered from Japan.

Did a quick comparison today between the 194 flank LED versus 194 SMT Tower for under the door application. The SMT Tower wins hands down!

Also did the PIAA map / reading lights. They are almost useless and produce little to no light at all under regular lighting indoor lighting condition. I'll test it out in a darker area later.

Mini Update.
Replace the PIAA LED room / map lights with the Bellof Sirius Revo LED bulbs. They are much bright and do produce usable light output. Highly recommended.

All the bulbs are still error free. I have all interior LEDs + front, side, and rear turn signals, not a single error code.
The Bellof Sirius Revo is only available in Japan at the moment so I have to use a shopping service in Japan to get them.

hmm what about for E92 the side ambience lighting near interior of door? Above armrest section.
Kind of wierd if eveything except that part is white.

Do you mean number 2 instead of 5? #2 you need one order for under the doors and one order for both footwells. #5 you need two orders, one per each vanity mirror

I'm not exactly sure which one you are referring to as the door handle light.
Do you mean: 1. the white LED light that is underneath the door handles, which lights up when you unlock your doors or 2. the orange ambient light that is underneath your armrest in the interior If you are referring t0 #2, then I have no idea, coz I have a sedan and the sedan does not have those interior ambient light. #1 is already white LED so it does not need to be replaced. For the lights underneath the door (the puddle lights), those are 194. You can modify the housing a little bit to fit the SMT high power tower in there.
