My pipe actually blew off while on the highway a few weeks ago. When I pulled over and realized what happened i just put it in map 8 (turbos off) and drove it to my shop. They let the car stay there for a little while until I ordered an ER replacement from Mike. Mike was great and got it out to me ASAP so i'd have as little downtime as possible. I'd strongly recommend both the ER pipe and ordering through Mike although Jeff is also great and i've dealt with him in the past. Never had a problem with either of them so i'm sure they can help you. I'll put some pictures of what happened to my pipe below and also what the ER pipe looks like. Let me know if you have questions about anything

I know this was an easy fix problem (and was extremely easy for me to diagnose) the only real thing I mulled over was upgrading or getting a warranty fix and trying stock again...and then getting the car to the dealer (it is pretty damn low, even a flat bed tow could damage my car easily).

Gonna take me a while to get to your level dude. Baby steps. Glad you didnt convince me to sell the daily... I told you having a daily came in handy
I would have driven/towed to the dealer and gotten a loaner

Plus, if you sold your DD and went FBO w/ RBs or Single you would have had an upgraded CP that wouldn't have blown off. Just sayin...

Yea it really sucked... I had a gopro on my car cause i was helping my friend film a project video of his S4 and all of a sudden I heard a pop and couldn't accelerate... Oddly enough my car didn't go into limp mode but that might be due to the JB4 having canclear on. That's why i put it on map 8 as soon as i pulled over.

Guys, i reinstalled the pipe onto the throttle body but its literally just on there by itself (pretty snug) but with no clamp (because the pipe is broken i don't want clamp flying off). Also, i found out the boost pressure sensor unplugged when the pipe flew off.

THIS IS JUST TO GET ME TO DEALER SAFELY.

I did not delete codes, so even though the pipe is installed, if I leave boost pressure sensor unplugged will the car keep me in limp mode for the trip (no boost) even though the pipe is still connected? (obviously i want to stay in limp to avoid the car boosting with the pipe barely on there)
