I am in the exact same boat, i have an 06 325i e90 and i have 2 L7 12's. (not to hijack the thread) what are the max dimensions of dual 12" box that will fit in the trunk?

I have a box in there now but it doesnt have enough airspace and also its too tall the go all the way in the trunk, its just in the middle. I am going to get the guys at klausaudio to build my box. i just have to give them the max specs and they are going to take care of the rest.

I have never been good at determining what would fit in there. I know the box is going to have to be on the long side since it is a rather short trunk.
